Alexandra Bridge is nestled in the Fraser Canyon above the Fraser River, built in 1926 as part of the Cariboo Highway but was decommissioned in 1964. Sitting 2kms upstream from the new bridge on the Trans Canada Highway it’s a great little spot to experience the fury of the Fraser River, if you look closely you may be able to spot one of the millions of salmon that swim by it’s banks every year.
