I guided Bear Viewing Tours for almost 4 years during the summer while I lived in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada; we had exclusive access to The Whistler Olympic Park which was home to over 20 bears. The Olympic Park was at the head of the Callaghan Rd, within the Callaghan Valley there is at least over 50-60 bears maybe more.

I would be out twice almost every morning and evening tracking and observing Black Bears, we got to know a few individual bears that made for some outstanding pictures. This female bear in particular was called White Chest, due to her heart shaped white patch on her chest, we watched her grow from a yearling into the wonderful mother you see here.
